Welcome to the Gosport FatBoy 7’s website. 

 

This tournament is aimed at having a great day out on the south

coast of Hampshire enjoying a BBQ, beer and off-season socialising.

We would advise all players, and anyone else who likes a party, to

get there on Friday so they can enjoy the hospitality and party atmosphere

which makes this event so special and 'must not miss’ weekend for the

summer. Our first tournament was held in August 2007, benefiting the

Wooden Spoon Society, and was a great success. The handicap system

admittedly favoured the old more than the overweight, and will be

adapted to be more fair during the 2008 competition.

 

Rules for this tournament will be promulgated on the “Rules” page

in due course, but please note that this tournament is

predominantly aimed at the more portly gent, and as such the rules

are formed to protect the FatBoys from being over-run by a swarm

of whipper-snappers. To this end, there is a handicap system in

place to avoid any problems.

 

All fee’s and fines will be donated to the Wooden Spoon Society,

so the more teams that enter, then the more money we can raise
